My Little Explorer

It hasn't been long since Walter learned to crawl, but he has taken off! He's gotten pretty fast. And agile. He's made it all over the house, now. He can crawl over and around obstacles, pull himself up on things, and really go after whatever captures his interest. He's curious, fearless, and full of energy. I spend my days trying to keep up with him - keeping him from falling and bonking his head, trying to teach him "no" (he loves trash cans), wrestling with him on the changing table, and just watching him explore the world. I really love this age. The whole world is his playground now and it's amazing to watch him take it all in.

Here are some snapshots of our day yesterday. And this is only the stuff I was able to get pictures of.

When I was folding laundry in the morning, he pulled the laundry basket over and climbed on in.

The end table is a fascinating place to climb.

I finally got his new carsear installed yesterday, but before that, it was sitting in the foyer and Walter had to check it out.

He is so cute, I love those little thigh rolls! If you guys end up in Millington we'll have to get the boys together for wrestling matches, it sounds like Walter could give Conrad a pretty good run for his money. :)
