Walter is three and a half now. I know, crazy, right?
He’s our social butterfly. Walter loves to be around people and is never shy. He likes anyone who is willing to play with him, but especially kids, of course. His favorite thing to do is go outside and play with neighbors Jacob (6 ), Charles (4 1/2 ) and Lily (2 1/2). They play their own versions of hide and seek, tag, cops and robbers, and anything else their little imaginations come up with. They also like to ride bikes and scooters and swing on the swingset.
Walter is also quite the talker. He will talk your ear off sometimes. He has a pretty good vocabulary and quite and imagination. He also has future plans. He tells me when he grows up he wants to be a firefighter, then go to college, then, after college, play basketball for UK. I tried to point out that he may have to do those in a different order, but he’s sticking to his guns. He tells me those things a lot, but sometimes he adds other stuff he wants to do when he grows up, like get married and be a Daddy and sometimes he even tells me he wants to adopt a kid.
I love you Walter. I hope all your dreams come true, but I’ll love you no matter what.

wow Amy! This made me tear up a little while reading it. Walter has huge plans for his life and that's amazing at such a young age. What kid thinks of adoption so young? I love it! Also, he must get that whole talkative thing from you, right? ;)
Sweet Walter! Miss you guys!
And he's my Pal! Lucky me!
