When we moved to our new house last summer, we loved the house, but we wanted to update most of it. Most of the paint colors and finishes were a little dated or just not our style.
Here’s what the family room looked like when we moved in:
As soon as we moved in, we tore off the chair rail and started stripping wallpaper. Then we painted. Walter even got to help.
And here’s what it looks like now:
I won’t say we’re done, because there is always more I want to do. But paint makes such a difference, don’t you think?
* Paint color is called “Applesauce Cake” was chosen with help from my lovely interior designer Julie Sandman.

Hi Amy, I love reading about your kids and your family. I am sad we missed you Christmas. Hoping we will get to see you this summer, maybe even come visit if thats ok. Keep posting the Blog on facebook so I remember to look at it. :)
