Sewing Project: Zig Zag Quilt

Here’s my most recent sewing project. It’s a baby quilt I made for a good friend. It’s pink with brown and blue to match the little girl’s room. The quilt top was made entirely of half-square triangles arranged in a zig zag pattern. The back is solid pink.

Since the quilting of the quilt is not my specialty, I decided to stick with stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. Not only does this hide a lot of the mistakes, it makes for a nice, clean zig zag look on the back of the quilt.

And a few more pictures just for fun:

If anyone is interested, I’ll post some more details or some kind of tutorial. I would love to hear from my readers! Tell me what you’d like to see.
